Carla is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida.  She obtained her Master's Degree from Nova Southeastern University in 2001.  Carla started her career as a substance abuse therapist for adolescents and adults in an inpatient/outpatient center.   Carla is a  Prevention Specialist providing training in the areas of violence, bullying, substance abuse, parenting, teen pregnancy prevention and HIV/AIDS prevention.

Carla has trained extensively in the areas of relationships with families, couples and adolescents. Her main areas of treatment and counseling are substance abuse, depression, grief, anxiety, self esteem, anger and violence in the family.  

 

She creates an environment that is nurturing, encouraging and conducive to promote individual change.
