'Hello. I'm Jamie Casimir, a social work professional. I hold a bachelor's degree in social work from Florida International University and a master's degree from Florida Atlantic University. I'm a part of the SIPS team, serving as an elementary school-based therapist.

For over four years, I've been passionately dedicated to working with children and families, particularly those from low-income backgrounds. I find immense fulfillment in not just helping them navigate through challenges, but also in witnessing the positive transformations that occur as a result of my advocacy. My theoretical specialties include solution-focused and CBT, which I apply in my work to empower these families.

In 2024, I took a significant step in my career by becoming a registered clinical social work intern. I'm truly excited about the prospect of furthering my journey as a licensed clinical social worker, as it will enable me to continue serving diverse populations and making a positive impact. My previous experiences include community work during my undergraduate internship and substance abuse during my graduate internship.'
