Substance Abuse
Our substance abuse services are designed to establish a therapeutic treatment environment for the individual with a history of alcohol and/or substance abuse or dependence.

The main focus is:
To address the total needs of individuals with history of alcohol and substance abuse
To reduce relapse and recidivism
To examine how substances have impacted their lives and the lives of those around them
To deliver treatment services in a manner that encourages the individual to learn cognitive and behavioral coping skills
To evaluate how drugs impact the mental health of individuals and families
Our philosophy for treatment lays on the belief that substance abuse is treatable and that people can change and recover. The length of program is 12 weeks.

Our program will include, but is not limited to the following:
• The process of addiction
• Understanding drugs and addiction
• Understanding self and others
• The process of recovery
• Decision making and communication skills
• The relationship between alcoholism/addiction and multiple problems (health, family, social, legal, etc.)
• The process of relapse prevention
• The process of maintaining a drug-free lifestyle
