'Hello, my name is Whitney T. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Education from Florida Atlantic University and a Master's degree in Social Work from Florida International University. With over a decade of experience, I have been actively involved in supporting children and families across various roles within the Broward Community. 

Presently, I am serving as a Registered Clinical Social Work Intern, working towards obtaining my clinical license. My current role as a School Based Therapist allows me to engage directly with youth and their families, offering tailored support and interventions. 

In my practice, I draw on a combination of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral and Play Therapy, and Mindfulness while employing a Strength-based approach. By emphasizing their inherent strengths and abilities, I assist youth and their families in navigating challenges and fostering resilience.  

Central to my approach is a commitment to individualized care, where I prioritize understanding the unique needs of each client and their family. Through empowerment and encouragement, my aim is to facilitate holistic growth and fulfillment. Ultimately, my goal is to enrich the lives of those I work with, empowering them to become thriving members of their communities'
